About the author

Yves Patrick Beaulieu is a French Canadian living in northwestern Quebec; more precisely, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, a region in the heart of the Canadian boreal forest. In 1991, he brought out his first novel, 'At the passage of the ninth moon', which received regional recognition. Ten years later his second novel, 'The hermitage', was also given a glowing tribute from his adopted region. In 2015, Yves Patrick published his work on Amazon through the online publisher LuLu.com and established his website Écrits de l'Abitibi (Writings from Abitibi), at yvespatrick.com
