About this ebook

Kwe! I know the original occupants of the magnificent Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, located in northwestern Quebec, Canada. "The Legend of Témisca" is a tribute to the culture of the Anishnabe people, the Algonquians, to the respect they have for the forest and the wildlife, an environment that is their own... Aki, Mother Earth, Kizis the sun, the plants and the animals.

About the author

Yves Patrick Beaulieu is a French Canadian who lives in Quebec, in the northwestern part of the province, more precisely in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, a region located in the heart of Canada's boreal forest. In 1991, he published his first book, "Au passage de la neuvième lune" and received regional recognition. Ten years later, the author repeated the experience with a second novel, "L'ermitage", which also receives a beautiful tribute from his adopted region. Five short stories followed, as well as a collection of poetry. He continues to write to this day.
