I cannot download the ebooks I have purchased for some reason. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it didn't work. It keeps saying "The book cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later." It's been like this all day. This is the first time I am having such an issue with google books. I can still download the samples of unpurchased ebooks though. This is very strange. Help. (april, 2025) issue seems fixed, not too sure how though, still a little slow, rating changed to 4 stars

One feature away from 5 stars and that's audiobook uploads. Everything about the app I'm down with. I love being able to upload ebooks I've purchased from other sources but the one thing I absolutely cannot stand is the fact that we don't have the ability to upload our own audiobook files. I have multiple audiobooks I've purchased from Humble Bundle or elsewhere that I would love to have all centralized in this app but for whatever reason, we can't upload them. Please, make it so we can!

It is handy but less so since a couple months ago. It suddenly started to loose track of the page it was reading out loud when you returned to the app. So you would not know on which page you were left, which can be annoying. It did not do that a year ago. Also it would be handy to be able to sort your ebooks in different maps (e.g. based on school or genre). The read out loud function is really great!
