About this ebook

Returning from France after working away, Lana Landon takes a spare room in her big brother Matt's new house.
Only problem is he's a super protective hockey player for the Seattle Whalers. She's come home with a business plan and a broken heart, but there's something more sinister lurking in the dark.
Alex “Thor” Bergman is the Whalers' huge goalie and is the last of his four brothers to settle down. No matter how hard he tries, he only seems to attract gold-digging puck bunnies who are after his big ... stick.
Can the Swedish giant find true love with a woman who makes the best grilled cheese sandwich he's ever tasted, but who's completely off limits?
Reader Advisory: this book deals with emotional abuse, physical assault, controlling and stalking behavior. As with all the Whalers books, there is plenty of fun, sexy times and banter, but please be aware if these issues are triggers for you and proceed with caution.

This is the first book I have read by this author and she will now be on my list to read. The characters are well developed, with great personalities, quirks and sass. The storyline hooks you from the beginning and keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. Loved the chemistry between Alex and Lana as he finds the one to finally spark his interest and she moves past a really bad relationship. The determination, fight and support the whole group shows as they all come together to support their own was wonderful. The details so vivid that you feel like you are there with them. Well done. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Lana and Alex/Thor. He's a hockey player on her big brother's team and is of limits. This story is about her coming back from Paris needing to get a fresh start after some crazy drama.. Only to be sucked into the Whalers life. Alex becomes very protective of Lana and will do what it takes to keep her safe. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the fourth story in the "Seattle Whalers" series of hockey romances. The story reads as a stand alone and does contain some possible triggers. The author does a good job with this story and the subject matter. Lana has escaped, leaving a horrible situation, and returned home to stay with her brother. Matt is a typical big brother who is super protective and a hockey player. Thor, also known as Alex, is tired of random hook ups and puck bunnies. When sets eyes on the petite feisty firecracker he is hooked and very intrigued. That is until her brother dubs her off limits. I enjoyed how this story develops. It does get a little emotional as she finally tells her brother the real story. Things between Alex and Lana slowly heat up as well. He is so wonderful and perfect for her.

With the help of Instagram she gained a loyal following and eventually secured a publishing contract. Emily is a recent but enthusiastic follower of the Dallas Stars and in particular the delicious Tyler Seguin. She loves an espresso martini, dirty-talking alpha heroes with tattoos and a lazy Sunday breakfast.
