About this ebook

Can two people find their way back to each other?

Straight-talking, driven, and committed to being the best sports agent and manager in the Pacific Northwest, Beatrix “Trixie” Cavendish works hard and doesn’t allow herself to be distracted. She’d let that happen once before and not only did it threaten her fledgling career, it also broke her heart into a million pieces.

The cause of that heartbreak? Chris Ford. While he is currently first line winger for the Seattle Whalers, Trixie remembers him as the ambitious rookie from the wrong side of the tracks who promised to love her forever. However, his career and her ambitions caused their young love to shatter. Neither Trixie nor Chris ever really recovered.

Ten years later, they’re both living in Seattle and actively avoiding each other. But an unexpected event in Chris’s life turns his world on its axis. The only person he feels he can turn to is the one woman he knows will never take his call.

Can these former lovers work together again or will past pain and heartbreak make a reconciliation impossible?

"I said I wouldn't kiss you again until you asked me to." I'm a sucker for a good second chance romance, so this was exactly my type. I also really like Emily's Seattle Whalers. No surprise I enjoyed this book. Watching Chris and Trixie find each other again and make it work for keeps was fun and made me smile. And Danny was just frosting on the cake. No worries if you haven't read the other books although obviously there are spoilers for them since they happened before. And you might very well decide after you finish this to go back and read the others. If you do, I'll just say, that's a great idea.

This book was definitely five stars from start to finish. I loved every part of it, from how Trixie and Chris met for the first time, which I thought was cute, to the ending. The ending was so sweet and one of my favorite parts of the whole book. 🙂 Some of my other favorite parts were when Chris and Trixie went to see the band together and when they slow danced in Chris's living room. There was also one part where I really related to Trixie. When she was trying to decide on an outfit for her date with Chris but even after trying on three different outfits, she couldn't decide what to wear. I've been there myself several times. All At Once is the perfect mix of sweet and steamy with several emotional moments and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves second chance and/or hockey romances. I look forward to and can't wait to read the next book in Emily's Seattle Whalers series. 🙂 *I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Trixie and Chris's story is one that breaks your heart from the start. Two people perfect for each other, who find each other at the wrong time. The second time the come together, choices still have to be made, but the point of their life it can be made for love. Trixie and Chris come back together after years they broke up. The heat is still intense, but the pain of loss is just as strong. Now it is Chris' time to make right the wrong he did so many years ago. Great story

Emily is a recent but enthusiastic follower of the Dallas Stars and in particular the delicious Tyler Seguin. She loves an espresso martini, dirty-talking alpha heroes with tattoos and a lazy Sunday breakfast.
