About this ebook

In the game of love, you have to take it all the way...
Nice guy defenseman Nate has only ever had one girlfriend—and that didn’t end well. Under the strict discipline of his Army father, hockey has always been everything. But after a hot as hell hook-up, he falls for naughty, commitment shy makeup artist Beth. He wants to tame this wild girl, and together they embark on an erotic ride neither of them will ever forget.
Beth struggles with where she wants love to take her. When she hooks up with Nate, everything she thought she wanted seems so far from true. The idea of settling down is something she hadn't thought of doing just yet, but Nate makes for a tempting and steamy chance she might not ever get again.
Can Beth open her heart enough to let love in? Can Nate overcome the demons of his past?

Beth and Nate might try to deny it to themselves, but it is almost impossible to not see the chemistry and attraction between them. Beth is so nervous to get hurt again, but it really shows that Nate seems like a great guy. As I went through the book, all I could think of was, can she give Nate a chance to be the one for her? The book was well written and keeps you entranced in their characters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Nate and Beth and the Whalers. Beth is a young woman who is a makeup artist and Nate is a defenseman for the Whalers hockey team. They meet and become friends. Nate wants to move the friendship into more territory. But Beth had commitment issues. Nate has a fear of losing her. I enjoyed their story as they find their way to a HEA. About the author

Emily began reading romance novels in 2019 and became instantly hooked. She was inspired to write her own during the 2020 lockdown and first self-published it on Wattpad. With the help of Instagram, she gained a loyal following and eventually secured a publishing contract. Emily is a recent but enthusiastic follower of the Dallas Stars and in particular the delicious Tyler Seguin. She loves an espresso martini, dirty-talking alpha heroes with tattoos and a lazy Sunday breakfast.

Plus, in addition to his own career, Jeremy has mentored many students and bands to future success in their careers, through his 15 years of high school and college teaching Whether it is producing in million-dollar studios with endless resources or in a home studio with, well, not endless resources, Jeremy has the expertise and experience to bring almost any audio project to life, no matter how big or small.

Jeremy’s audiobook career took off unexpectedly after advertising his engineering business. Expecting work as a editor, proofer, and mastering engineer (which he does for national entertainment companies), he was surprised to be asked to be a voice artist, sound designer, and composer, as well. Now, he takes audiobook projects from script to mastered files.

If Jeremy is not in the studio, he is volunteering in his kids’ school, transporting his kids to one of their many events, or out running or biking.
