The Path After The Storm follows three stories. The first is the incomparable Reverend Jerry Baylor; who is a pastor of a neighborhood church with a deep dark past of being a pimp and drug addict. While in prison, he finds a wife named Patrice who is a member a church choir that visits the prison, and also finds God. Second is the young 19 year old Devin Edwards who is a drug dealer who lived a hard life. As a well-known dope boy from the projects born to a prostitute named Cee Cee, who died from AIDS when he was 5 years old Devin found himself orphaned and at the age of seven forced to reside and work for his moms female pimp, Sandy. This is how he became a child of the game. Last is the sassy and classy Kayla Parker whose character is a young black business woman who struggles to really find herself no matter how much money she makes. Kayla Parker is a single, well-educated young woman who is a taskmaster in the boardroom, an alcoholic, and a man-eater who thinks money will solve all her problems. Not only does she have problems with men but she also has problems with her parents whom she takes for granted.

I haven't been able to put this book down !! I love it when a book is captivating from start to finish. Just a awesome pice of work, now I have my favorite authors, after reading this book! I'm it leaves me starving for the next volume. This book have move to the number one spot of my book collection, and in my collection is Grisham, Patterson, S.Harvey, Sister Souljah, M. Baisden, just to name a few. I'm waiting on volume ll, can't wait to get it. This should be a screenshot.

Finished in 3 days I stopped reading , on purpose so I wouldn't finish so fast when is there going to be a second one ??? You should put my name in it !!!
