I love this series. Each book can be read as a standalone but is better enjoyed if read in order. Before committing suicide Evan sent letters to his brothers in arms to deliver for him. This is the third book in this series and sees Aiden staying to help Beth discover which of her employees is stealing from her. Beth has been in love with him since she was fifteen but he walked away when Evan told him to. She has never forgiven him for that especially as no man has ever measured up to him. Aiden likewise never managed to forget Beth but stayed away until now. The sexual tension between these two is scorching and the eventual giving in is inevitable. Add in past hurts for both of them, misunderstandings and plot twists and this is a fantastic fast paced page turner. Thoroughly enjoyable. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. In this book we meet Beth Ryder & Aiden Miller. After learning that her brother died she sees the last man she thought she would. What she doesn't know if he is back because he wants to be with her or because of her brother and his need to do this final thing for him. Aiden can't believe he is going to Evan's funeral. What really doesn't know how to feel is delivering a letter from Evan to the one woman he hasn't forgotten. Can these two find a HEA or will the past always be between them? Another amazing hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This book checked all the right boxes to have me up late and firmly in my happy reading place. Beth and Aiden's romance is filled with steamy passion, rich angst, raw emotion, intense feelings, thick tension, nerve wracking danger, thrilling action, and a lot of fierce inner emotional turmoil. A truly wonderful read that handily delivers the feels and the swoon while keeping you right on the edge.
