However, to those who are saved, the Gospel is the very means of salvation and, when they look back to their lives, to their conversion, and their Christian experience, they see clearly that all these were part of the wonderful Providence of God. And the Puritan John Flavel explained and applied these truths in a marvelous way in his unique book The Mystery of Providence.
This book was originally published in 1678. This edition has been proofread, typeset for eBook readers, and lightly updated for modern readers.
