About this ebook

The U.S. war in Iraq may technically be over, but struggles and internal conflicts within this troubled region show no end in sight. And while history, documentation, and time still work to fully comprehend and evaluate Operation Iraqi Freedom, it is certain that the impact of this war goes beyond battlefields and budget allocations. It has personally touched an entire generation. For every soldier that deployed to Iraq, there is a story. This is one. It profiles and Iraqi businessman, an Army supply officer, and a quest for gravel.
