Elora has saved enough money and is leaving the mansion where the fashion designer and her son live. She travels to the town of her friend that died from a drug overdose. She is trying to start a new life, but Gavin is unhappy she left. Elora discovers that someone took her identity to start an account with an electric company.

The differences between truths and lies are becoming even more difficult to discern. The same with the difference between friend and enemy. And just when Elora thinks she’s discovered some answers, the Winds of Fate change direction and snatch them from her grasp. What really happened the night of the fire? Who can Elora trust? And, what’s really going on in Calter? I have guesses but no certainties, and I'm desperate to discover what the next book will reveal. I received a complimentary copy.

Elora has finally got the chance to leave and decides to go back where it all started. Elora is now struggling with who to trust and not sure about who is a friend or foe anymore. Just when she gets some answers, then more questions arise. Maybe, hopefully, she will get some questions answered soon....
