About this ebook

Why did Marlowe run? And who killed her?

After discovering Marlowe in her final moments, those are Elora’s most pressing questions. But perhaps not the ones she should be asking. Desperate for answers and blind to the evil lurking in the shadows, Elora continues digging deeper, believing eventually, she’ll hit something tangible.

Elora returns to the lion’s den in Calter with Gavin and Gwendolyn. As she continues to press, she finds that she’s not as alone as she once thought. There are allies trying to shine light into the darkness in their own ways… but not everybody can get out in one piece.

Eventually, Elora’s luck will run out.

Unless it already has.

My mind is spinning. There were so many new revelations in this book, that I can’t quite make out how they’re all going to fit together. And in light of Elora putting herself back in the lion’s den in an effort to get answers, I kind of don’t even want to predict the dangers she may be about to face. In some cases, it’s very easy to see who the enemies are, but I'm less certain of who are actually her friends. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

This book has only brought more thoughts and ideas. There is a lot of the old saying, "stranger danger" going on.....as you don't know who is friends or enemies now anymore. I feel for poor Elora. Great book, though. I highly recommend this book and series
