Par šo e-grāmatu

Urban Magic and Other Tales is a collection of short stories and flash fiction full of fantasy, sci-fi and even a splash of horror, some of which have previously been published in anthologies and online magazines. Spanning time, worlds and what might be possible if we look hard enough, Urban Magic and Other Tales offers a glimpse of the creatures and possibilities hidden at the edges of our perception, along with the chance to see into worlds normally hidden from mortal eyes.

The collection largely (although not exclusively) features Veil of Gods stories, with many written to explore concepts, creatures and the larger world in which they exist.

It's time to get caught up in the supernatural and unreal.

Par autoru

Chris embarked on his writing career while under the blissful ignorance of youth, when he thought writing a successful book was as simple as reading one.

It turns out writing an exceptional book is a lot harder than it looks.

Even so, his novels have been shortlisted in both the QWC/Hachette and Varuna/HarperCollins Manuscript Development Programs.

His first novel, Divine Prey, was accepted by an agent and publisher, but true to Murphy’s Law the publisher folded and the agent left the business.

Chris has since learned a lot about self-publishing.

Being a writer, it’s traditional to have cats, but his dogs thought that was a stupid idea.

Chris’s mission: Write stories that matter.
