About the author

About 30 years ago, Chris Andrews stumbled upon the Thermal Springs List for the United States, published in 1980 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Since then, armed with his GPS and a truckload of maps, he hit the road on his long weekends searching for them all. He has contributed accurate information, updates, and photos to numerous hot springs magazines and guidebooks. He lives in Idaho.
