'Hulo' in Bengali means male cat who happens to represent the leaders of the country who lives on others earnings like a parasite. Here you find stupid goat is able to marry human girl just because he is male. There are nostalgic narration on the poets childhood. There are many social issues presented to appeal and motivate young children as well as adults.

About the author

Born on 5th December 1971 at Midanapore and brought up at Dishergarh (Asansol) coal belt of West Bengal, Sriparna Bandyopadhyay had a good academic record with artistic and creative inclination from her very childhood. Being an MBA preceded by BSc and BEd her career could have been otherwise. However, her present full time engagement is Creative and Factual Writing – contributing poems, fictions, book reviews and essays to various little as well as leading Bengali magazines and dailies. She has also worked as a professional Content Writer in English. She is a blogger too. Sriparna has already 16 books of poetry, fictions and essays in her credit and some more are in the queue.

Although her literary journey started with poetry, Sriparna is acknowledged for her crisp and analytical prose. She has been awarded for a number of times for her fictions. However, she is simultaneously committed to research based articles on gender bias, historical or socio-political issues. It’s the same commitment that inspires her to write fearless columns and features.
