Marcus Gowan, is in possession of a secret, unknown technology first acquired by his late, adoptive father and after building the spacecraft Destiny, prepares to initiate his dream of gaining a permanent foothold in space to fulfill his ambition to claim Humanitys birthright to the stars. Mike Giesinger was born in Calgary, grew up in Prince George, and as a child, spent his summers with his grandparents in Redcliff (on the outskirts of Medicine Hat). Mike has a power engineering ticket. He now lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and works as a Purchaser (nickname is 'Scrounger') for a company that repairs large (size of houses) industrial compressors. Mike claims he is just visiting this planet.
