Head Over Heels: A Steamy Single Dad Romantic Comedy

•Chase & Liv• Gaaaah!! I loved this book!! Chase and Liv have such a witty and playful chemistry between them it made it such a fun read. Chase is a devoted single father to the adorable Katie, (who had my rolling at the role playing scenes LMAO!) while being a serial dater, never committing to more than a few dates. Liv while fun, creative and quick witted, never stays in one place too long due to a less than stable childhood. These two, contradictory in habits, likes, hobbies etc., actually compliment each other in the most perfect of ways. A fantastic read, HIGHLY recommend.

So, I finished Serena Bell’s Do Over with that happy, swoony “man, I LOVED that book” feeling and couldn’t resist taking a peek at Head Over Heels, also part of the Under-One-Roof series. And then read it in one fell swoop. Chase Crayton and Olivia Stratten have fallen into a strangely comfortable friendship, ones who can commiserate over a terrible date and laugh together while not-watching movies together. When Chase suddenly needs a new nanny and Liv needs a place to crash and some cash, it just makes sense for her to step in to help with Chase’s daughter Katie. Their proximity works beautifully, maybe too well, when they suddenly find that that line they’ve never been tempted to cross before? Miiiiighty tempting… Serena Bell’s story is charming and captivating by turns, and Liv and Chase’s growing relationship both warm and oh-so-hot! I love how Ms Bell’s characters ultimately face down some of their greatest fears and how their vulnerability and honesty pay off for them and us readers. Fabulous read. Wonder if I have enough time to take a quick peek at Sleepover…. ;)
