About the author

Pethuru Raj has been working as a cloud infrastructure architect in the IBM Global Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), IBM India Bangalore. Previously, he worked as TOGAF-certified enterprise architecture (EA) consultant in Wipro Consulting Services (WCS) Division, Wipro Technologies Bangalore. He also had a fruitful stint as a lead architect in the corporate research (CR) division of Robert Bosch, India. In total, he has 13 years of IT industry experience. He did CSIR-sponsored PhD degree in Anna University, Chennai and continued the UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Thereafter, he was granted a couple of international research fellowships (JSPS and JST) to work as a research scientist for three years in two leading Japanese universities. His technical competencies lie in service-oriented architecture (SOA), cloud computing, enterprise architecture (EA), context-aware computing and machine-to-machine (M2M) integration, Big Data Analytics, and business integration methods. He has been contributing chapters for a number of high-quality technology books that are being edited by internationally acclaimed professors and professionals. Currently, he is writing a book on the topic “The Internet of Things (IoT) Technologies for the Envisioned Smarter Planet”. The CRC Press, USA has released his book titled as “Cloud Enterprise Architecture” in 2012, and you can find the book details in the page www.peterindia.net.

Ganesh Chandra Deka is the Deputy Director (Training) at Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi-110001, India. His previous assignments include Programmer, World bank Project at Nowgong Polytecnic, Nagaon, Assam India [1995-2003], Computer Science Consultant at North Eastern Regional Centre of the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR-NERC), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Rural Development Government of India, Guwahati, Assam, India [2003-2005] erstwhile National Institute of Rural Development, Northeastern Regional Centre, Assistant Director of Training, Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi-11001, India erstwhile Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment [2006-2016], Deputy Director of Training, Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi-11001, India [2016- Current]. He is a member of the IEEE and IETE, an associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India). His research interests include NoSQL Database, Bigdata Analytics. He is the editor-in-chief of theInternational Journal of Computing, Communications and Networking. He has edited 5 books on cloud computing and published more than 50 research papers as of now in various reputed Journals & Conferences. He is the Co-author of 4 books in Information Technology.
