About this ebook

Sickle.

A rare Omega male, he's lost everything to the king of the beyond. To Giaus, that hated feral mutant, infected with the Trax virus. A colossus who stole everything that might have saved their ragged pack. Their sweet and wild Renegade, the queen Sickle would have died to defend was now utterly corrupted by her mate.

Ruined.

Untouchable.

Sickle had watched them all fall to the king who shouldn't be. His brothers lost where he could not follow without accepting certain death.

So he'd fled, but not before setting a horde of the hopeless lost on his former brothers. A walking plague to grant them a merciful death when he'd been too weak to do so himself. Too... Omega to grant a peaceful end to the queen he might have loved.

Heart sick, tattooed cheeks wet with tears, Sickle is alone. For the first time, his life is in his own hands.

And the price?

Everything.

But to one of his kind? Born to endure, created to serve, everything means nothing at all when suffering has been the only true companion he's ever known.

Sickle will rise from the shadows. Transformed. Flanked by dragons.

But he is not the only one who will know what it is to change...

This book started out with the struggles between life and death. It was really touch and go for everyone involved. And just when I thought I knew where the author was going with the book, she throws us a curve ball and changes things up again. Especially when I was rooting for a character's demise, they go and redeem themselves (somewhat), LOL. There's some flashback for one of the characters that gives us a better understanding of their character. Enjoyed it, go read it!

While it was difficult to follow at times due to the different points of view (Sickle’s) shifting quickly, it all came together in the end. I enjoyed this series as a whole and am interested to see what happens next for Renegade and her court. Voluntarily reviewed after receiving a free copy courtesy of BookSprout and the author, Myra Danvers

I’ve enjoyed reading about the Feral Court and this is a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. It goes up some loose ends and sets up a thrilling path forwards should the author choose to come back to the court. I liked Renegade more and more as the series went on, but she really came into her own in this book and the strength, bravery and recklessness within her showed more and more. This is really a series worth persevering with.
