Witch For Hire introduces the main cast of characters for this new series with a cat as the head honcho! Tawny finds herself in a strange world when all she wanted was a hot shower! These magic characters and Twany must solve the mystery of who killed Tawny's landlady and why. There are lots of laugh out loud moments in this interestingly twisted tale.

I enjoyed reading this, not only is this fun and entertaining short story, it jumps right into the action and the adventure holds interest from the beginning. Plot is also informative and blends well the cozy mystery as well as laying the foundation for the series and getting to know each characters’ unique purpose. In Tawny’s search for a hot shower, she finds a new purpose and her version of magical sleuthing. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Witch For Hire is an entertaining start to a new series. Tawny is likable, quirky, snarky, and smart. Mr. Fluffikins is an interesting character and a unique boss. Parker is sweet and competent. Greta turned out to be quite the surprise. The story was well-written and held my attention from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
