When a guest is murdered at the benefit, time is of the essence to discover the killer before the end of the evening. This was a shorter story with the usual cast of characters doing what they do best. I loved trying to figure out who did it and this one kept me guessing.

This is set within the pet Whisperer PI series but you don't have to read it to enjoy this one. But you should read the series :) Now, Angie is trying to have a charity even for the rescue but things start to go just a little wonky. Between upset animals (Octo Cat is not happy), some stranger eyeing her boyfriend, then a dead body means Angie needs to figure out what happened fast. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Different kind of story. Angi can get into some of the strangest predicaments. She does not even have to try. She is very sweet though. Octo-cat really can be a devil at times. I love to read about their push and pull. I enjoyed this story. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
