About the author

Lakangiting Garcia is a distinguished Filipino educator and multi-awarded poet and writer. He teaches Filipino at De La Salle University, where he was recognized as an outstanding teacher from 1994 to 1996. Garcia earned his AB Filipino degree from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and an MA in Drama Education and Theater Arts from the Philippine Normal University. Currently pursuing a doctorate in Language and Literature at De La Salle University, he has received accolades such as the Tanging Gawad award from the National Historical Institute Katipunan Centennial Poem Writing Contest and the prestigious Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. His notable work includes "Mata ng Diyablo," the ninth installment in the B1 Gang series, published in 1996.

Paul Zabala is a Filipino-born author whose storytelling weaves together contemporary urban experiences with the rich tapestry of Philippine folklore and supernatural traditions. Growing up in a family where ghost stories were shared as readily as daily news, he developed an early fascination with the intersection of the mundane and the mysterious.
