'George' is book four in Kathi S. Barton's "Xavier's Hatchlings" series and I must say, this one left with a cliff-hanger. This is honestly the first one in all the books I've read by Ms. Barton that left me with my mouth open, flipping back and forth to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Imperium, aka Imp, is part elemental fae. She is also the creator of all dragons … well, along with her sister and brother. As a matter of fact, she created Cooper and Ava, the original Manning dragons. She's been alive for so long she sometimes forgets what she is. In all actuality, she has a loveable, cantankerous personality and really doesn't like the human race much but craves being around them. This story starts out with a bank robbery and doesn't slow down throughout the entire storyline. I absolutely loved the book but hate that there is always such a long wait between them. Hopefully, there won’t be such a long delay before we get Dover's story and I can find out what happened and who it was that showed up at the end of the book.

I loved all the books I've read so far. But what happened to book 5 and 6 ? This is driving me nuts I have to read them to see all the guys have their happy ever after 😭
