5 Stars From Sammy's Book Obsession! MY THOUGHTS~ I was provided with a Review Copy/ARC for review. Holy bikers, Batman! Gods & Monsters was an awesome read! Totally worth the wait! Actually, I think this is my absolute favorite book by Jani Kay! Don't get me wrong, I love Ryder & Jade's story as well as what we've heard of Harrison & Eva, but Cobra & Mia?? OMG insanely amazing! The writing in this book was fantastic and the characters with their depth and familiarity, blew me away! Considering that most of this book took place in the US and Mexico with mainly American characters (besides Mia & her family), I was thrown a bit by some of the phrasing and wording here and there that gave away that the author is an Aussie. Not that I have a problem with that fact itself, I love books set in Australia. I just think that if the book is set in a certain country/area, the dialect should coincide -which it DOES mostly, just not always. Anyway, I LOVED this book! I loved the way that the whole back story was told. We got to see Alessandra (Mia), Cobra, Ryder, & Razor basically grow up before us! I have a totally different prospective of Cobra now than I did in the previous books. Just amazing! I can't wait to see what else Jani Kay has in store for us in the Scorpio Stinger MC series. I will definitely be devouring all of it as soon as I can get my hands on them!

I have been a bookworm all my life - as a voracious reader, I would gladly spend my last dollar on a book (who needs to eat anyway?). I'm always fascinated that for the mere price of a book (often less than the price of a coffee!), I can escape my life for a while and see through someone else's eyes into their world.
Above all, I believe in Kindness, Karma, Miracles and Magic...
I love the colour red, am a fiery Aries, am impatient and always storming ahead with those ram's horns, bashing my head...I have a wicked sense of humour and embarrass my kids these days (*see Karma*)
In my 'other' life, I am a business woman and a scientist - a creative scientist though - I formulate skin care products and brew up concoctions in my lab...*evil laugh*
I have 2 beautiful children who have grown into amazing young adults in spite of having me as their mother ;-) My hubby takes care of me while I write and supports my dream of growing up to be an author. We happily call Perth in Western Australia home.
One of the questions I am asked most, is if I have been to all the places I describe in my books. The answer is YES!
Besides reading and writing, my favorite 'thing' is traveling - I have been lucky to travel the world, learning about different cultures and I have come to the realization that no matter where on this planet we live, we all ultimately want the same thing: Happiness (imao).
In the name of research I always do first hand exploration of places I write into my books. (I predict more travel in my future... LOL)
Ever since my childhood, I've wanted to be a writer and now I've finally faced my fear of failure head on and just did it!! I have discovered my unique style of writing and my 'voice' and now that I have, I'm not shutting up till I've told all the stories in my head. (Yeah, those characters are a noisy bunch)
