As the 4th book in this series, I was impressed. The action and paranormal suspense that’s built into the plot made it so easy to get absorbed in the characters and not want to get out. Thea is by far my favorite character, as her determination and guts make me want to envy her. This whole series has a wonderful whirlwind that has you jumping on feet to see what might happen next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Mix in a history with broken hearts, bitterness that may never be forgiven, & love that time cannot deny, & you have the makings of a story that will captivate & enthrall you from start to finish. It’s an emotional ride with some unexpected twists & surprising turns that will keep you reading until the very end. But it’s a thrilling ride you will definitely want to take & not miss a single word.

This is book four in The Guardian's series and it is Thea and Max's story. Thea and Max have history and they had been in love but thing's ended really badly. Thea is a psychic medium and she has taken Drew under her wing trying to help him with his power's but when he goes missing there is only one person that she trusts enough to help her find Drew. Max is a FBI Agent and when Thea asked him for help to find Drew he couldn't say no as she is the only woman that he ever loved and he hopes that the more time that they spend together that they can put there last behind them if possible. Danger is all around them waiting to strike but will they all get out alive and will Thea and Max get a second chance of being together and having a happy ending. There are twists and turns along the way and that is what makes this book a real page turner that keeps your attention. I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will not be disappointed.
