4 star Review First Kiss Before Frost (Lost Harbor, Alaska #11) by Jennifer Bernard Jennifer Bernard is a new author to me and I cannot believe I have not come across her books before. From the first chapter I was drawn into Lulu Spencer-Bennington and Tristan Del Rey’s story. Lulu has been through a lot and now she finds herself hiding out in Lost Harbor. Tristan cannot help but be drawn to the sassy, feisty dancer even though it is the last thing he needs at the moment. The town believes he is a hero but the struggling fisherman doesn’t agree. Romantic suspense is a genre I thoroughly enjoy. I was kept on the edge of my seat when danger comes to Lost Harbor and has Lulu in it’s sights. I loved how Tristan and the town banded together to protect and keep Lulu safe. The chemistry sizzles between them as they embark on a roller coaster of a journey that will have you cheering for them both. First Kiss Before Frost is an entertaining read with characters you cannot help but fall for. This may have been my first book by this author but it won't be the last.

ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars First Kiss before Frost is book 11 in the Lost Harbor series by Jennifer Bernard. Love going back to visit Alaska and our friends on Lost Harbor. Next up is Tristian a harbor resident and fisherman still recovering from his accident and Lulu, a cruise ship entertainer who has jumped ship in the harbor. Secrets, loss, protecting their hearts, hiding from danger, drama, kissing and finding where you belong…and a HEA!

Rarely do I pick up a book and can't put it down, but I've done that with 2 of the books set in Lost Harbor. I've been waiting to learn more about Tristian Del Rey and to discover where his Happily Ever after would come from. Full of humor, passion, a sense of belonging and trusting your heart, I fell in love with Tristian and Lulu as they navigated the oddities of life in Lust (I mean Lost) Harbor. Bernard creates characters. communities and situations that feel so authentic that you can't help but come back for more, book after book, series after series. This book can be read as a standalone, but do yourself a favor and start back at Book 1 and fall in love with Lost Harbor Alaska.
