JAMES S. MURRAY is a writer, executive producer, and actor, best known as “Murr” on the hit television show Impractical Jokers on truTV and TBS. He is the owner of Impractical Productions, LLC and co-owner of Bad Woods Entertainment. He is the author of the international bestselling Awakened trilogy, the thrillers Don’t Move and The Stowaway, and the children's sci-fi book series Area 51 Interns. Originally from Staten Island, he now lives in Princeton, New Jersey with his wife, Melyssa, and dogs, Penny and Pepper.
