Possessing a strong background in commercial art that was developed through his education at Cass Technical High School, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University, David F. Andrews has the ability to create vivid images, similar to painting with words. An avid lover of science fiction and suspense, Andrews skillfully brings together classic elements of storytelling, with a modern twist leaving cliffhangers in every turn of the page. Growing up in inner city Detroit, Andrews has seen his share of defeats and triumphs, not just for himself but for society at large. From shoot outs between drug dealers to homeless men stumbling through the streets and from prostitution to governmental corruption, Andrews has seen it all. With an artful touch, he brings those experiences to bear in his work. Long weekends of Twilight Zone and Star Trek marathons filled most of his childhood years as he sat next to his father on the sofa. From Star Trek to Outer Limits, his love of science fiction only grew deeper. A child of the 90's, Andrews could hardly deny the effect that the original Matrix movie had in bringing his passion for science fiction to new heights. One day at age 13, Andrews was sitting in his living room watching a movie, when he thought to himself, “I can do this better.” The next day he put pen to paper and has been writing ever since. For years he wrote his stories sharing them only with family and his closest friends. Now, after half a lifetime of preparation, Andrews is finally ready to reveal his deepest passion to the world.
