This is my favorite book so far in this series! Jess is finally starting to get some answers from her mom and Maestro. She seems settled into her new life and Jenny is starting to get her powers, which gives them something to bond over. There are still plenty of secrets to uncover and that's causing some friction between Jess and Maestro, but they're starting to come to an understanding. A man is killed in broad daylight and her new neighbor is the prime suspect. Can Jess solve the murder?
