Armin Nassehi, geboren 1960 in Tübingen, ist Professor für Soziologie an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München. Er hat Philosophie, Soziologie, Erziehungswissenschaften und Psychologie studiert und arbeitet heute auf den Gebieten der Politischen Soziologie, der Kultur-, der Organisations-, der Wissens- und der Religionssoziologie. Nassehi hat zahlreiche Bücher und Aufsätze verfasst und mischt sich auch aktiv in öffentliche Debatten ein.
