A parent's worst nightmare turns into a touching love story imbued with the flavor and chaos of a large city. A young exchange student journeys to a foreign land for a semester abroad and lands up in one of the unsafest parts of the city. What ensues from the first day to the last day of this relationship proves that love conquers all. The insouciance of Josephine transforms danger into adventure and lessons to live for the moment. Highly recommended!

Fast, funny read. Dark humor mixed with existential musings. Can't remember the last time I laughed out loud so much while reading a book.
