As he navigates heartbreak, self-doubt, and the harsh social hierarchies of high school, Mothcatcher starts to wonder if things will ever be fun again. Together with Halloween Costume, who has his own scars, Mothcatcher faces questions about friendship, identity, and what it means to grow up.

Evan Jacobs was born in Long Island, New York, and he moved to Irvine, California, when he was four years old. He lived there for a year before relocating with his family to Fountain Valley, where he still lives. As a filmmaker, Evan has directed over 30 low-budget films, and he’s also had various screenplays produced and realized by other directors. He is currently working hard on several movie and book projects. Evan also works as a Behavior Interventionist with people who have special needs.
