Djinn Tales: The Traveler is the newest part in a growing series of stories by Sean Northridge set in the fantasy steampunk world of Ankythera. The story moves briskly, never straying and the artwork is good and clear. With good figure work and structure throughout, the colouring and finishing touches leave a little more to be desired, though this does not hamper enjoyment of a work packed with large vistas, cool cars and giant monsters. A particular splash page inside is noteworthy for its impressive scale. Serving more as an introduction, I for one would be looking forward to further installments with a bit more meat on its bones, so to speak. Overall, The traveler is good fun with monsters, hi-jinks and fun designs. And for free? Well, there's no reason not to pick it up!

Derek Dwyer:
Full Time Artist, Part Time Jungle Warrior, Derek Dwyer draw's alot, and constantly belittles Sean's ego with terrible terrible puns. But he makes up for it in Fantastic Art!
