This book is mostly worthless, I'd say 95% of it is far below the generic basic info. If you ever thought about this stuff you should already know much more. I also disagree with some of the statements in this book.

I have been working hard to get out of debt. But I also have a 401k that I pay into. The best advice I got from the book is to never buy a new car. Since I am 43 I am playing catch up but will not have a mortgage by age 50. I have a part time job & I even donate plasma now. Thanks for the info.

This is a great manual to reference while going through Financial Peace University, and taking to heart the Total Money Makeover. Just the basics in a very simple format, it has all of the talking points for achieving financial freedom. If you don't learn something new from this, pass it on to someone who could!
