Ellie and Becket's story is well written and holds your attention. I couldn't make up my mind whom of Ellie or Becket I felt sorry for the most. In the end love prevailed despite the town gossip, people from the past showing up uninvited and all kinds of confusion. I like how Becket's family welcomes Ellie in their circle, even before there was an indication of an attraction. I can't wait for Book 3 in the series. It seems to be a long wait until 26 August, when it becomes available.

An unusual sensation of more than lustrips into Beckett when he catches Ellie about to fall out a rickety step stool. He has been a player for ages and nothing like this has never happened like how he feels when he catches her. She is not so sure about him due to his reputation. They both have a lot of past to deal with or all hope is lost. A very energetic story. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
