Some really gripping actionšÆ I found this 3rd in the series a faster read than the 2nd, grabbing my interest and keeping it. It's still incredible the trouble Finlay and nanny/accountant Vero stumble into, especially when they're surrounded by cops. The final action scene was the most exciting: a winner for me. The book is full of twists and suspicious characters who keep Finlay in constant suspense as she tries to uncover contract killer EasyClean. Good humor, too: Finlay's kids are greatš

There is nothing like the mayhem and shenanigans that reigns whenever Finlay and Vero get caught up in whatever new adventure has them scrambling to set things right in their world. Their time at a citizenās police academy is the perfect backdrop for their struggle to solve who the bad guy is this time around. The romance remains on the edges even though itās definitely kicked up a notch, the humor is perfectly layered throughout, and the mystery is smartly developed.

Elle Cosimano has created complex characters and a killer storyline. What I really enjoy about her stories; pivotal moments are not rushed and quickly wrapped up. This adds to the suspense which I love. I am enjoying this series and can't wait to see what Finlay and Vero get into next!
