After years in the Bench Program—where “problem students” go to be forgotten—Tony finally earns his way back to his home school, Vista High. He's ready for a fresh start, determined to reconnect with his best friend Carlos and leave his past behind.
But fitting in isn't as easy as he hoped.
Carlos has moved on. Old habits creep back. And the pull of the streets and old friends proves stronger than Tony expected. As loyalties shift and trust is shattered, Tony finds himself caught between two worlds—one trying to push him forward, the other dragging him back.
Raw, honest, and emotionally charged, Home School is a powerful coming-of-age story about identity, betrayal, and the fight to redefine yourself in a world that only sees who you were—not who you’re trying to be.
