I do enjoy a single parent romance so they are hard for me to pass up. I'm not gonna lie when I first started this one I wasn't so sure of Logan, but the more I got to know he slowly won me over. There's a heart of gold in that guy. Kendall, she's awesome. She is like my mom was. She has so much on her plate, but the love she has for her son shows and makes sure he is a priority. I loved Kendall's son and his love of cooking. The scenes between him and Logan melted my heart. Those are the scenes the solidify what a good guy he is underneath. Logan does a lot of growing up in this book. I would highly recommend this one. It delivered on the feels, heat, and humor. It's a well balanced book in my opinion.

This is book two in the Modern Romance series and it features Kendall and Logan. He makes an irresponsible bet with a friend and needs her help before he loses controlling shares in his grandmother’s company. For me, this book didn’t get really interesting until after the halfway point. His and Kendall’s chemistry was explosive and extremely sexy. I love that he really got who Rory was. That was important! The first half of the story was full of unnecessary filler story. The second half of the story was fantastic! Logan’s character growth was impressive throughout the last half of the book, even though there were one or two disappointing moments. Mature Logan is much sexier! The friendship between Logan and Monty was touching. Nellie, I could’ve done without but I’m sure everyone’s got one of those friends.

This is the first book in the series that I have read and I loved it. Each book can be read as a standalone. Kendall and Logan were such a great couple. They were so cute together. The chemistry between them was so hot. You could feel it coming off the pages. I love books that make you feel what the characters are feeling. This is why I read romance - stories like this. I was hooked from page one and I didn’t come up for air until it was done. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
