Soul of the Wolves

Taking Back Control I don't know where to start with this the story is not your typical HEA at least in my opinion it's a little bit more. I love the fact that the story was about direwolves and not regular shifter wolves or wolves in particular. In this story the humans are unaware that others live among them and so that was kind of a refreshing twist. I also like the fact that direwolves seem to be at the top of the chain of command in a sense and they're not quite law-abiding citizens they do what is necessary to keep their kind inline. Now Sookie and Ethan are poles apart in lifestyles, personality, and what they seem to want in life. Sookie grew up taking care of her baby brother and life is not been easy and he's been just say less than stellar in the choices that he makes such crazy decisions. Where as Ethan is considered the ruler of his kind with inherent responsibilities to oversee and protect. That's not to say there are factions among his kind that would like to see him toppled and someone else put in his place or to see their houses get more power. Overall I enjoyed the book it was a fairly quick read at maybe an hour and a half or two tops great for those times when you have to wait on your kid at practice or at a hair appointment it'll give you something to do.
