Martina loves soccer and is thrilled when she gets to play on her school's soccer team. She's not so thrilled however, when, during her first game, she realizes the other players don't know how to play as a team and think girls aren't as good as boys. Martina and her new soccer friends from the park decide to create their own team, the 'Fire Ants'. When they enter their first championship they meet Martina's school team. About the author
Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA. Marta Moreno was born in Barcelona (Spain) and studied Illustration at l'Escola D'Art de Tarragona. She currently combines her work as an author and illustrator with teaching in small rural schools and her pupils are a great source of inspiration for her. She has published more than twenty books, some of which have been translated into numerous languages.
