I thought that this was a good read and a solid entry in this series. Galen and Gemma were likable and I felt they made a fun couple. The story keeps you entertained with a blend of drama, danger, action, mystery, murder, romance and excitement. This is my frank, freely posted review.

Galen had no idea what he was getting into when he agreed to help Zack but he definitely wasn't expecting Gemma and she is full of surprises. I love how Gemma was so resourceful as well as a bit mysterious where as I literally hated her sister Rebecca who you couldn't help but role your eyes at her all the time, yet I thought her daughter Becky was the sweetest thing. There is plenty of mystery as to who is after them and why then once things start to unfold you not only start to find out why Gemma and Rebecca are opposites as well as find out how crazy things are with some twists that leave you shocked. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I swear Gemma's sister got on my last nerve. Gemma needs angel wings for listening to her, putting up with her, and saving her! I absolutely adored Galen in Keane's book and I love him in his own story. The quiet, the strength, the common sense, the leadership it just all seeps out of this book. Yes I think out of all the books I am in love with Galen. He deserved someone strong, intelligent, with a mind of their own and Gemma fit the bill completely. Love this couple. Its like Ice and Levi for me. (if you don't know who they are you are missing out on a lot). There were twist, turns, and such an adorable little girl. Gemma's niece, Becky. There is murder and surprise ending. Gemma's sister, Rebecca, besides getting on my nerves, is one self centered, whacko. Just goes to prove you can grow up in the same house hold and still have your own sense, your own life. Well done Dale Mayer! Thank you for the arc Dale Mayer and Booksprout.
