This was a very good read. I feel comfortable giving it five stars. So many books featuring female agents / assassins/BAMFs, somehow have a habit of making them go weak and stupid out of nowhere part way through the story to make the male character have an excuse to rescue her which is, really, BS. In this story, it came close a few times, but never tipped over into actually annoying me; which, of course, is a good thing. So, if you're a reader who's noticed this behavior in some authors, rest assured that this story doesn't ever go over that line - in my opinion. I think, just like the first one in this series, this story is an excellent read and a lot of care has obviously been taken to make the characters and settings believable and enjoyable. I can definitely recommend!
