A great thriller that started a bit slow but picked up soon and I was hooked on this story! This is frighteningly familiar in real life! I highly recommend reading this story! It is worth the read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Absolutely enjoyed it although I have worried about isabel's fate which means the story was extremely gripping. Great read, couldn't stop reading

Not just a "who dunnit?" , but why? Thoroughly entertaining and intriguing. Each time I thought I had it figured out, I didn't. This one is difficult to put down. Enjoy!

Lorna Dounaeva is a politics graduate who worked for the British Home Office before turning to crime fiction. She writes dark domestic thrillers and is especially fond of female villains. She lives in the Orkney islands with her Ukrainian husband and his parents, three children, a crafty cat and a happy dog.
