About this ebook

Still reeling from past trauma, one woman is about to pay the ultimate price. A price she can’t afford.

Five years after the turmoil in Samara Carpenter’s life began, her issues have resurfaced with a vengeance. Samara, who is now married with two children and more alluring than ever, stands to lose everything when a familiar acquaintance reappears, and an evening of drinking turns into a night of passion and a proposition that will send her into a life she will regret. Unfortunately for Samara, lust has ways of twisting the heart to cruel designs and she slowly finds her life unraveling.

And Samara’s life becomes increasingly chaotic when a gut-wrenching betrayal brings her to her knees. Tormented by nightmares, overwhelmed by guilt, and haunted by the lingering suspicion she’s being followed, Samara soon discovers that someone wants to kill her and will stop at nothing to make that happen.

Stunned, Samara hurries to take matters into her own hands before it’s too late. When she finds herself in a deadly predicament with no way out, not even her seductive fire can help her this time. Samara is about to face her ultimate test. A test that will ruin her life forever or finally set her free. Which arrives first remains in question.
