Mark Paul Smith has been a trial attorney for 37 years. Before law school, he played in a rock band in New Orleans, which became the inspiration for his novel "Rock and Roll Voodoo." His second book "Honey and Leonard," comes straight out of his law practice. A third book, "The Hitchhike," is a memoir of an officer in the Air Force hitchhiking around the world and coming back a conscientious objector. He and his wife, the artist Jody Hemphill Smith, own Castle Gallery Fine Arts in Fort Wayne, Indiana
