Undefeated: Inside the 1972 Miami Dolphins' Perfect Season

This book brought back excellent memories of an innocent time, my teenage years, moving to Opa Locks in 1969, going to the Dolphins games by catching the bus in North Dade at the Modern age plaza, getting into games with my 99 cent tickets from the McArthur Dairy Huddle Club, first game saw Dick Butkus bite a Dolphin player during a pre season game fight, Richard Nixon attending one of those famous Saturday night regular season games when he came over from his Key Biscayne compound, the monsoon storm in October 1970 where you could not see the North stands or the new artificial turf... someone forgot where the drainage plug was located, this was the game that the author referred to she the Dolphins beat the Raiders for the first time and Paul War field twice made 360 degree turns to fake out a defender...what memories.

The Miami Dolphins are one of two teams I follow, but never read a book about them. I wish that I read this before Coach Shula's passing. There are so many questions that I have and wish that Coach could have answered. A good tribute to him!!

I had to buy it. My cousin played on that team. It is a feat that my family is very proud of.
