Nicholas is a dragon shifter with a dark past. Giving up on ever finding his mate after much dating, he decides to cope with his work. Minnie is a wolf shifter that is a famous sculpture. She has an ex that steals from her. Minnie decides to go to her grandmother's place that's now abandoned to stay to relax from her ex's betrayal. When Nicholas confronts her about being in the old abandoned house, he knows she's his fated mate, now he must convince her to stay with him forever. This was a fun story to read. The fact the Minnie was outgoing and Nicholas was patient with her and understanding, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Nicholas has wanted a mate for a very long time, if he would properly admit it to himself that is. He has just watched his brother change from a surly, guilt-crippled loner into a happier and more hopeful male with he arrival of his own mate. Minerva is through with men, her ex definitely considering how badly he has stitched her up. However if she's asked about her love life again she might scream.
