About this ebook

Genesis, the first book of the Bible and Torah, is a profound narrative that spans over 2000 years with themes of creation, fall, and redemption. It begins with creating the perfect man and woman, in body, mind, and spirit. It’s an account that resonates with the human experience, reflecting our struggles and triumphs. Please join me in this adventure from the idyllic and tragic beginnings in the Garden of Eden to the complex dynamics of family and faith seen in the stories of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and the twelve tribes of Israel. Genesis presents a tapestry of human history imbued with divine interaction. It’s a testament to resilience, the power of faith, and the enduring promise of renewal. Through its pages, readers are invited to contemplate the depth of their own beliefs and the impact of their choices, just as the figures within its verses did. Genesis serves as a historical account and source of inspiration, challenging us to consider our place in the continuum of humanity’s relationship with the loving God.

About the author

E.F. Blair has been an Elder, Deacon, preacher, teacher and Christian for nearly 50 years in the church. On a cold and snowy winters night in 1976 he and his wife Carolyn accepted the Gospel and about midnight were baptized as nearly twenty excited onlookers witnessed the happy occasion. He has been married to the love of his life for over fifty years. They have four beautiful Christian children and nineteen grand and great grandchildren. He and his wife have fostered over eleven children through the course of their marriage and have supported three international students. He has taught the book of Genesis for over twenty five years but has never found a great study guide for adult bible students. He is now retired from engineering and has long wanted to create and complete a study guide for dedicated Christians studying the book of Genesis.
