Saga feels herself being drawn into a spider’s web, and must navigate the traps and lures of an awakening intelligence if she wants to go home again . . .

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters had some depth, and I am glad that the authors did not follow the same storyline that "Ghost Ship"(movie) and other Hollywood-ized books (and movies) take far too often. Having said that, I was a little bit disappointed that the book's tempo, which was speeding up nicely, suddenly hit hyperdrive into warp-9. It kind of made me wonder if maybe their publishers had pushed up the deadline to 6 months earlier than initially planned. The last ⅓ felt rushed.

ANDREW NEIL GRAY and J. S. HERBISON are partners in life as well as in writing. The Ghost Line is their first fiction collaboration, but won’t be their last. They have also collaborated in the creation of two humans and preside over a small empire of chickens, raspberries and dandelions on Canada’s West Coast.
