Der Entwurf einer "Theologie des Verlassens" setzt außerhalb gesetzter normativer Strukturen an: ausgehend von Gott, von seiner absoluten Alterität und Transzendenz. Indem theologische Rede sich selbst verlässt, folgt sie einer Gottesvorstellung, der zufolge Gott sich selbst verlässt und auf diese Weise auf sich und sein Geschöpf vertraut. Im ewigen Verlassen öffnet sich ein Raum, in dem theologischen Rede selbstkritisch darum ringt, die Weite Gottes wahrzunehmen. Im vorliegenden Band vertieft Ulrike Sallandt den systematischen Ertrag ihrer philosophisch-theologischen Auseinandersetzung ("Alterität und Sprache", 2024). Räumlich und performativ konkretisiert sich die Theologie des Verlassens. Kulturelle Transformationsprozesse, ob global-lokal, technisch, epistemologisch, pädagogisch und/oder methodisch, wirken dabei als Quelle ihres theologischen Denkens.
